United States 2007 LR2 i6 SE Auto Tambora Flame

Just got my vehicle back from the dealer. The spring isolators were not in stock yet, but they lubricated the ends of the springs and tightened the nuts and the noise is gone.

Turkey 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi ,

When I go up to 160 km/h , I have a loud roaring noise from the right front side . If I go above or below this speed , everything is fine. It seems as if the noise is coming from the air intake on right side. I talked to the dealer but they haven't been able to find the cause.

Click when first driving off

Don't know if any of you have noticed this, but as of today I've noticed a click upon driving off from park for the first time. Putting the car in park and then back into drive does not result in this click. And no, it's not the door locking mechanism- that's completely separate. In addition, I can feel that click through the gas pedal.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

It seems to be normal -there were other owners reporting same-I can feel it too , and only after you first put in in Drive

Thanks

Thanks m1964. It seems to be related to the door locking mechanism. Weird thing is that I didn't feel it when I left the dealership- of course ; ) Next time I get it serviced (which won't be for a while as I still haven't gotten to 500 miles), I'll ask them to look into it.
