Moose against a Freelander - Who won?

Car crashes with Moose (Elk) crossing Norwegian roads is an occasional occurrence that causes several human deaths each year. The chance that a Land Rover involved in such an instance must be rare and even rarer that somebody photographs the event. Although the Land Rover involved was a Freelander 1, I thought it appropriate to post it here as a warning for anybody visiting Norway, Sweden or Finland bu car.

The Female Moose was killed on the spot and the youngster that was following its mother over the road has probably been shot by now. The Freely driver was unhurt this time. Pity the enclosed interview is in Norwegian, but I guess you get the idea from the photographs.

I have to issue punishment I am afraid Twisted Evil

starting Monday you must drive a JEEP for 5 days

whilst doing this you must tell your co workers how privleged you are to be driving such a a great car

let them be drawn in to said conversation ..... Then correct them that you was infact talking about your LR2

finishing off pulling your wallet out and showing them pictures of your LR as if it's your newborn baby Very Happy

only then will you be cleansed Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
