I look forward to how far onto the verge I can go Laughing

Other than that, it's not that much wider than anything else.

Admittedly, when I was in the lakes, doing the Hard Knot Pass, an elderly lady came towards me, going up hill, in an ageing Morris Minor. I was trying my hardest to get to the passing place, as there wasn't any space to pull over (quite sharp drop at the edge), but she just kept coming, I could tell she was worried about stopping and then getting started again. Made me very scared Shocked , as I literally only just made it to the spot where I could move out of the way. If I hadn't sped up, or driven off the edge, I doubt she'd have stopped.

love it love it,i live just under Wrynose and hardknott pass and i do that road once or twice a week, the HST Auto loves it No problems.
Its the best 4 x 4 by far,and it suits the narrow roads,it allows me to climb the sides of the raods and sometimes get off the road altogether!! Thumbs Up .
Idea Free cup of tea if any one is passing my campsite, its the one with the Camping Pods on, the kettle is always on,fancy a sunday drive over wrynose !!
Eskdale Thumbs Up.

exactly same happened to me in wales I ended up so far up a verge Mrs G though we were going to roll over! I am used to a fair bit of side slope driving but on that occasion I fairly well agreed with mrs G. but if I hadnt the old dear would have rammed us for sure At work

Sounds like my dear old mum in her Fiesta, she would stop for no-one on the country lanes. She met her match in Mrs Cholmondley-Warner (not her real name!) in her horse box. The damage to neither vehicle was too bad but it did frighten the horses. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver
LONG GONE - '55 Norton Dominator 99 SS cafe racer
