im suffering from the inside of my alloys getting spotted corrosion.

How do I stand on warranty my cars an 08 plate

Do a little research before, and find out what LR authorised wheel cleaner is, and swear blindly that what you use

If they don't and they blame it on acid wheel cleaners etc, tell them that you use "Valet Pro Bilberry acid free wheel cleaner" Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I use a presumably acid wheel cleaner - Turtle Wax Nano-Tech (the worst kind maybe ) but have never seen any signs of corrosion on my 2-sets of LR alloys. Maybe you are not using the stuff correctly  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Hi thanks for the replies. CG its the old 6 spoke gs alloys about a year and bit old. Ive had several sets of alloys on different motors and never seen it before.
Luckily its the inside rather than the facing edge but it still doesnt look nice.

The cleaning agent is tesco's fairy liquid but to be honest I dont really clean the inside perhaps this is why ?

Fairy liquid is loaded with salt etc not good for cars/wheels . At work

Hope your not doing the rest of the car with washing up liquid

I used washing up liquid on my cars for years and never hurt them, but the 'experts' do say not to as they sell you expensive alternatives.

But do not ever use washing up liquid in the clothes washing machine I remember that well, foam everywhere. At work

I use Turtle Wax - Zipwax, for the whole car. It's great stuff My wheels are corrosion free thus far.  Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass
