door handle skins

Hello all..

6 weeks into ownership and it's time for some bling...I've seen lots of door handle covers for sale but has anyone experience of skins rather than covers, the existing skin unclips and is simply replaced...no glue or tape required.

Cheers.....

I not heard of skins before Confused

But if you need to take the handles off I have heard that there is a small pin or something that often snaps, but this was when people was replacing the handles as complete units Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Snapping off the small lugs was what concerned me, but I like the idea of not having to use adhesive, Maybe someone has used them and can advise.

FYI...for a little more on price (£90 ish) you can get colour coded replacement handles from your local stealer and replace the complete handle units on all 4 doors. PA51 ELY gave me a full written procedure although he suggests it's a little daunting! (I'll copy and past the script into my gallery). I've seen them on MAV 71's car and they are definitely next on my list (just had the rear spoiler fitted....so saving up again!).
