Would you buy a white lr?

Unless you are the un or police or live in desert why buy a white lr? Btw new white called fuji. Better than alaska. More bluey white than the yellow of alaska. Ok i'll get me coat!!! Live your life be free-lander

England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Fuji White

Thanks to some heroics in the 30s and 40s we live in a free country.

My mates who sell Fords and Land Rovers are selling more and more white cars. Just a trend. Who cares?

I’ve had white when it was last trendy in the 80s, never again it was always dirty but looked great when clean.

Black and very dark blue are great, but are hard work keeping clean.

Silver is by far the easiest to keep looking good as you need to clean it about 4 times a year.

As for all the other colours its down to personal preference.

All land Rovers are great Thumbs Up

Zermatt Silver will be my 1st choice in 2010 i'm afraid. I like stornoway grey but generally i stick to light metallics. Rolling Eyes

I think white needs to be complimented with extras such as privacy glass and alloy upgrades as can look a bit plain in standard form.

Mmmmm hard question ...... Would I buy White......... Not sure about a fuji White car if it had a blue tinge to it

Alaska White is slightly cream. But this gives it more depth than other White cars I have seen, when looking at acwhite Audi it's paint looked thinner

the way I look at White it's personal thing. I would have left been a LR owner if it wasn't for Alaska White as it suits the FL2 really well

and is very easy to keep clean, much to my supprise and that is before it's had a full clean, machine polish and wax Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Belgium 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Santorini Black

I read a Belgian survey a couple of weeks ago that white cars, even with this trend, cost 20% less than the same car in black on the 2nd hand market. Black cars tend to hold their value the best, whites the worst.

So not good economic sense to buy white also tough colour is always subjective so not sure that rule applies anyway. Don't think it has influence on the exchange value if u trade it in for a new car as well.

I choose black becouse to me it looked the best. If u go white go HSE otherwise the black plasic bits ruins the look too much for me. That's why I bought black with all other colours u notice those plastic bits too much, and also the chrome tubes and mirrors look the best on it.

Also, to me, white looks so plumber's vanish to me. All those small business drive these little white vans, and it reminds me of it. It's even worse if u would buy mercedes. All taxis here are white or black so I'd never choose that color for such a car.

You pay good money for a FL2, so it better shows it's part. That's why I've blinged it up a little. My dealer to this day tells me it's the best looking FL2 he has sold to date.

But hey, as i said before, colour is all subjective, so don't compomise on it!

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Rimini Red

I bought a red un and I'm replacing it with a red un I like the ability to spot it across a crowded car park across a sea of grey, black and silver cars. i would buy a white un for the same reason but then again they are getting more popular.
I like White, I just like red a bit more Very Happy

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Why does hardly anybody choose green Question
Its the LR colour
Much more distinctive than Black and almost as dark
cooler and more natural than blue
Rare so different these days
almost as nice as Stornoway
and not as omo as white

but nobody wants green Shocked Maybe its because of superstition, like green being unlucky Question
Looking at the statistics - its BLACK cars that are involved in most accidents and not green ones 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
