Not seen any prices for the LRX yet, and I would consider changing my FL2 for one,but I cannot see it being affordable compared to a Freelander.I think it will be around £36k for a base model that nobody will want and over £40k for a decent spec one!Does anyone know any different? Sorry to disagree but I think that making cars have daytime running lights will reduce the contrast with motorbikes and lead to more collisions -idiots pulling out in front of bikes. I am not a motorcyclist but have been (a number of years ago for economic reasons) and I think they need all the help they can get

Surely with cars driving around with lights on will encourage bikes to do the same thereby leading to greater visibility for all |

Well, half the year we also have daylight more or less around the clock. Your debate whether to have lights on during day-time or not, reminds me of the debate that was here in Norway 30-40 years ago when this was introduced. But let me comfort you. It works fine. No problems at all. All vehicles are more visible. Simple as that. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack. |

Chris B: Even in the dead darkness of winter the snow makes it brighter on the roads and as Viking says the other 6-months of the year it hardly gets dark at all in the south and the sun shines all night in the north Concerning the use of daylight driving lights, of course it makes sense to use them during daytime as any serious motoring association will agree It seems that the UK is about 30-40 behind everybody else when it comes to using them 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
