Stock Alpine Audio System with Subwoofer: AMP + Sub install?

Greets from across the pond! (CA, USA)

Anyways, I can't, for the love of god, find a complete stereo wiring diagram for my SE LR2. I am trying to connect an amplifier to my stock system for more bass, but don't know where to start. I have install a couple of amps and subs in different cars, but there is basically no information on our wiring schematics.

Basically, I need to know where would be a good place to:

1. Install a remote lead (ignition on) line
2. If the stock headunit does not come with RCA outputs, then where would be the best place to place the speaker level inputs?

Thanks guys..

Thanks for the info guys.

Jeez, looking through the wiring diagram, why is it so much harder to understand than all the other cars I worked on!

I worked on Lexus, Toyota, Acura, Honda, Nissan, but first time on a Landy!

So which diagram am I supposed to reference here? The infotainment Lo-Line Ciruit or the Infotainment Most Hi-Line Circuit. I'm assuming I have the Most Hi-Line, since I have a factory subwoofer and I don't see a factory subwoofer on Lo-Line.

Thanks again guys, more help please!

BTW, I do not have have navigation or phone or anything. Just the Alpine system with a factory subwoofer.

Can you not take the remote off the cigarette lighter as it doesnt need any power. Then get the fattest cable you can find straight onto the battery and earth it out through the chassis ?

I would have thought getting the wires through from the engine compartment through to the cabin would have been more the problem. Question

Finding the remote power, ground and main power isn't the real issue. The issue arises from the fact that the stock head unit does not have RCA outputs, so I will have to use the Hi Lo install method on the speakers. Yet, the speakers are located on the door panel, so routing the wires to the boot will be an issue.

Any suggestions guys?
