Dropping Drivers Seat

I have at last had the drivers seat fixed on my freelander 2 After a long time waiting the dealer has finally fitted an electric seat and at the moment touch wood the seat position stays the same. This is obviously a fault on all FRL2s as every courtesy car that I have had have all the same problem and that includes the last one which was a 59 plate.
I suppose there are some people who are not overly concerned about a dropping seat but to me a fault is a fault and must be sorted When I have asked LR whether or not they are going to do a recall they are very non committal Anyone who has the problem just persevere with LR and don't take no for an answer and in the end they will accede Fuji White GS 12 privacy glass leather retrim

Had a replacement manual fitted on Friday. Does seem to have rectified the problem, but I'm due to do a longish haul soon so will see what occurs. This topic is also covered elsewhere

Slightly disappointed that they didn't do the B Pillar, which I was unaware of until after I'd been in. I thought this was a recalll issue? Indus Silver

Well lucky you('Exclamation')
I think it is only a problem with those of us who have manual seats. recent posts indicate that they have been replaced with Electric ones until they sorted out the problem. My experience thus far indicates they have sorted out a manual replacement
i shall be heading down to Bedfordshire shortly which should test whether the replacement works! Indus Silver
