Belgium 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Landrover spent millions designing the car and I am sure they would have included them if they looked good.[/quote]

But they somehow missed the need for a storage box between the front seats! Though I know this is an old dicussion point, I still consider it unforgiveable. On the plus side, the power socket in the boot is an excellent little feature.

On the side steps, I don't like them. Spoil the line of the car. But if they are of genuine pratical value for you, then this is a clear case to keep them. Practicality should come before style.

I've got them and still like them. Makes it look a bit different from all the other Stornoway Grey ones on the road!

Just a little question. The side boards are shaped from like skinny to get wider rather than the same thickness all the way through so do they go the fat bit at the back or the fat bit near the driver door ? In the accesorie book it shows them both ways on different motors ?? Confused

How does people feel about them on the old FL1 ? I always prefered the look of mine with them on.

I have steps on mine as I think they look great giving the car a wider stance (as with other posts my missus thought they were essential to the look when buying!) and they are useful to lift bikes on and off the roof rack as well as for cleaning...

If you off road a lot I would not recommend them as they reduce ground clearance significantly! SHINY BLACK BEAUTY - FL2GS AUTO WITH A FEW OPTIONS...AFTERMARKET (SO FULL!!) I guess that the bonus of side tubes , they reduce clearance but act as a buffer in case you do hit something. At work
