Balloontrip

Went on a balloon trip yesterday, which was a present for my 40th birthday last april.

If you look closely you'll notice we skidded a bit when we landed, like 4 or 5 times.

You'll see the last skid better on this pic. They could not hold the basket upright so we had to crawl out.

Guess which car was the only car that followed which could drive into the landing field?

Great fun. We were lucky the weather was stable and there was a good breeze. Becouse of that we did about double the range they normally do and we could get low enough for my wife to make some great pictures.

In the absence of any previously agreed local practice, should a request be made for payment, the following amounts are suggested as a guide. (NB Any such fee is accepted without prejudice to any potential claim for damage caused.):

£4.00 for each passenger in a non-partitioned basket with a minimum of £10.00

£5.00 for each passenger in a partitioned basket,
with a minimum charge of £35.00 and a maximum charge of £80.00

above is assuming no crop damage, one balloon once dragged its basket about 200 yards across my potato field then flew off Evil or Very Mad

We occasionally get a glider landing too At work

Thing is you all paid the balloonist a fee which included the landing fee, but he never got caught by the farmer so more money for him Thumbs Up . At work

Rolling with laughter it would be a huge landing fee for that size balloon, with extra for the toxic threat posed by the van's chemical toilet Evil or Very Mad At work
