Is this the front of the roof rail you mean? Where it curves down and joins the windscreen? If so the same thing happened to me. It goes in on Monday for some other things and I plan to mention this to them. I'll try to get a part number if its the part you need. |

Nope, it's the rear on the driver (left in the USA) side. |

if they was fitted at purchase by the dealer then , they are covered by the full warranty (at least in the UK they are)

Same problem here. I talked to the dealer and it looked like the only way to order that piece was as part of a 'kit' of parts. As I recall they quoted me ~$150 for the kit. Too bad we are both missing the driver's side (US), otherwise we might have been able to split the cost... Greg East

Yeah, that's sucks we're both missing the same part. Do you have a part # for the kit. DAPinc usually can order LR genuine parts for a decent price. My dealer warranties LR kit bought at purchase, but i think the warranty only counts to kit they install. I still need to ask them I guess... |

Sorry, no part #. I need to check with Rocklin Land Rover, they're usually pretty good on price as well. https://landrover.niello.com/partscatalog.php Greg East

UPDATE: I finally got the plastic end cap replaced. I brought the LR2 in for service last month and mentioned to the service writer about the missing cap and requested warranty replacement. They balked at first but quickly came around and worked to get me a replacement. They ended up having to consult with a LRNA field engineer to get the parts separately from the complete roof-rail kit, but they finally came in, and I installed it this morning. |

The parts department at Hunters Brock had a few off a roof rail kit they fitted on another car under warranty but didn't need the caps.Dont know which ones are left but I begged one off them a couple of months back(can't remember which one I got from them now),maybe give them a call? |

Yep. Arrived today and, as you say, fits & looks fine. Nice to have pattern parts of these end caps available singularly and at a reasonable price. |

Interesting that so many left rear end caps "fly" off.. Lost mine last autumn / fall, ended up purchasing the LR Installation kit PN # LR006610 , just to get the one end cap.... which in the middle of a cold Edmonton, Canada freeze went walk about once again..
