Having meandered through the Lyth Valley in search of some damsons* on our way to The Shamling** for afternoon tea on Saturday, we came upon a B.O.A.T. and much to Mrs B's chagrin we decided to continue rather than turn around and stay on tarmac.

The FL2 handled it fine (although I'd have been more comfortable in my D3). Mrs B did insist that I got into the driving seat at one point and she was very worried about getting bramble rash (she's been to Tong with me before!)

Her tyres now look much dirtier than they did before - no doubt she'll expect me to clean them for her at some point.

* I've already got the sloes for sloe gin, the damsons are for damson vodka - should be ready for Xmas!

** at £50 for two, it's a good job I'd won a gift voucher in the Hospice Ball raffle - top quality sandwiches though (with no crusts of course!)
