Loadspace Protector with Cargo Barrier - Will it Fit?

Can anyone tell me whether the Loadspace Protector (LR002424) will fit with the Cargo Barrier (LR002521). The dealer is saying only the Loadspace Mat (LR002516 - which is just a rectangular rubber mat) will fit.

I've spoken to two other dealers - one suggested it might work but didn't seem 100% sure on this.

Looking at the picture in the accessory brochure, there appears to be a a lip at the back that could be cut off to make it fit if the cargo barrier is installed.

FL2 TD4e arrives on Friday and need to order the right part.

Thanks in advance for any help. (I've searched the forum and whilst there are references to this question, there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer)

Not sure I can answer yet, but fitting dog guard to Freelander tonight & am getting the hard boot protector, probably will not have both by Friday but will let you know how I get on.

I need both as with two potentially muddy dogs, need to protect the boot area, a rubber mats okay but not really what is needed.

Many thanks pjb

I've been looking at www.hatchbag.co.uk who do a heavy duty pvc coated fabric custom shaped liner for FL2, which seems to be a good system and adds protection to the plastic sides of the boot.

On the dog guard, do you know if there are any fitting instructions online? Interested to see how it's mounted at the bottom - the area that might interfere with the load space protector. The photo in the accessory brochure is too dark and small.

Also, be interested to hear if the fitting of the dog guard is easy.

Thanks

Dog guard won't be available Friday - it's on back order Sad Just had a call from the Dealer...maybe Tuesday next week.

So time to see how you get on pjb with your guard and liner.
