yes there was a documentary on the television the other week about this. The only way they can steal your car is with the keys and will do what it takes to get them.

Mmm as you well know Im well placed to share your sentiments!! Big Cry

Just goes to show tho - we all get a little bit complacent in our own little castles then the Censored Censored Censored scumbags come and prove you wrong.

Apparently we've heard the newest trick (without wishing to scare anyone!!) is to steal high end stuff then either 'sell' it back to you or threaten you to make you buy it back - nice individuals eh Rolling Eyes

Since our incident and the dimise of Hugh we have looked at a number of security devices for the property and I think we are going for the security beam which lets of a 'Bing Bong' when anyone walks through it - depends on the lay out of your property/drive tho I guess!!

Failling that a chuffing great big German Shepherd roaming around - the blooming Labradors Rubbish!! Laughing 'Freddie' FL2 2007 GS, Sumatra Black, Manual

Very sorry to hear that.

Thieving Censored

I hope not too much damage.

Do you have dogs ? If not get one, if you have one gets its hearing tested !!

Surprisingly even the smallest dog generally make so much noise the Censored Censored pick on someone else.

Horrible feeling afterwards, I know from when we had attempted breakin a few years ago, your naturally on edge afterwards.

Glad nothing was taken

Best wishes

Had the door secured today and quotes for it replacing with the same company who fitted it

Looks like my insurance company is giving the go ahead on them to redo the door

lights will be fitted early next week too

my driveway alarm I have covering the garage is repositioned now to cover the rear of property also, lights on timers inside switching lights on when I out also

still shocked that i didn't hear them as doors only 10ft away from my bed

police said if I don't have a dog get some large dog bowls and chewed toys to make it look like I do Rolling Eyes Didnt stop them trying my brothers house and he has all them Inc the dog Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
