My 08 GS has just turned 20k on original 17" Goodyear Wrangler still legal with 3mm. Early this year I bought 4 17" SE wheels which had done 2k with Continental 4x4 to give me a real spare.
A busy day today, Saturday last I covered 180 miles of which 60 were on forrest tracks where I was running timekeeper ahead of Merrick Rally. So today I removed all wheels, pressure washed,underside,wheels and washed FL2 (and partners Volvo). Fitted new SE wheels for first time so it will be interesting to compare.
Had Contis on my new Honda CRV but can't rate them as car had 5 different alignment settings plus new rack in first 10k miles before I was finally able to reject car which had severe steering pull from delivery. Honda official rework/service bulletin!!! when carried out made matters worse. Garage???? or build fault??? Plus faulty clutch master cylinder, rear discs (which Honda replaced under warranty but fitted old pads back) clutch judder and finally brake master cylinder.

One noisy interior mirror in 20k with FL2 Auto, what a difference.

contis,dont last long,but are a nice ride my orig conti contact 4x4 m&s on my fl2 s 16 ninch,only lasted 10-11k on the front. good year wranglers that are on the gs fl2 17 inch seem to be a much longer lasting tyre.

Have to disagree about Contis lasting. I got 39k out of mine!
