Hi all, my Freelander 2 will soon be hitting the 60k (miles) service. Is there anything different to the 30k or 45k service? Does the FL2 have a timing belt?

Hey Dude!

Having just had the 45k service last week at £303.00, inclusive, I asked the same question about the next service. I was told by my dealer’s front man at MJ Fews - Gloucestershire that the 60k is a B service (like the 30k)

You could gauge the cost upon what you paid back then.

I was relieved when he told me there was no timing belt on FL2 TD4 engine to be replaced. (I didn’t ask about the petrol engine)

I am sure there are those better informed out there that will confirm and put us both right if I was given duff -gen.
