United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
The 6 Hour Detail

I decided to take advantage of the nice weather here last Saturday and gave our FL2 the works.

1 - Snow foamed
2 - Rinse off and wash with Meguiars Proffesional Series Shampoo Plus
3 - Clayed the car then washed again
4 - Wheels treated with Billberry Wheel cleaner and washed down
5 - Dried
6 - Glazed the paintwork with Chemical Guys EZ Glaze then buffed off.
7 - Sealed with chemical Guys Jetseal 109, after 10 minutes buffed off
8 - Waxed with Dodo Juice Banana Amour carnauba soft wax
9 - Windows polished and trim treated
10 - Wheels treated with Chemical Guys Wheel Guard and tyres treated

Really pleased with the result. It has to go for it's first MOT in 3 1/2 months, hopefully nothing will be needed, I'll ensure it has it's 3rd service a couple of weeks before the warranty expires.

Hope you all like it!

The bloke who used to work for me did that on a regular basis, also painted the suspension, on older cars without wiring looms to the doors, he even took the doors off to clean around the hinges correctly.
He was a good man to employ, as the tractors and combine harvester where all kept gleaming clean Cool .
But then he would be trying to plough a field without dirtying the tractor Rolling Eyes which isnt really what the machines are bought for. Asking him to go and use a muck spreader full of chicken Censored was a tricky affair Laughing . At work

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

I had to wash mine yesterday, either an overweight seagull exploded after eating too many seaside chips whilst flying over my car or pterodactyles are alive and flourishing in Bedfordshire,

I kid you not .. bird poo the size of a cow pat slap bang in the middle of the bonnet. Pushed the jetwash machine to it limits getting that baby off.

I definately saw lights up and down the high street flickering under the load.... 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

I'll be getting some of that once my Chemical Guys Hard wax has been used up. I use Dodo Juice Black Velvet on my Signum.

No very often as you can't really see the inside of the wheels, but maybe 3 times a year they get a good clean inside. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
