chrome door handle covers whats your opinion????

just found on e bay chrome door handle covers ,they slip over the existing door handles, and stick using adhesive tape.
do you think they will look cheap or fall off
or i could stick with my black plastic ones
of get black metalic complete replacement handle sets
,the vehicle is black metalic and does have half chrome mirrors already.
what do you think??? Wax on Wax off

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Although they may look smart at a distance, I often have wondered if door handel covers (chrome or any other colour) will feel a bit unpleasent to the touch and maybe even a bit sharp on inside edges Question Covers maybe wont look cheap, but they may feel cheap Whistle

The best would be go the whole hog and swap the handels for proper painted or chromed - expensive but more exclusive. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

They certainly look better than the original plain old black plastic handels. Although the chrome covers are a bit "bright" for a grey guy, I would had tried chrome shadow covers if they where available. Painted ones would probably get scratched up by the wifes claws, so Stornoway ones are out.

Preferably of course I would swap for the real thing, but at Norwegian prices its not worth the thought Shocked 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
