lots of door unlocking sounds

Today when nipping into b&q i pulled into the carpark and noticed the sound of the doors locking it did it about 10 times in quick sucession but the door unlock buttons near the handle didn't move Confused

Only can think some sort of interference such as large electric power pillons overhead or something was on the same frequency of the car

only key in the car was in the ignition so I couldn't be catching the button Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Confused you get the same unlocking sounds as if the cars trying to continuously open/lock?

It is a major pillon as Ferrybridge power station is just down the road

Even so it should really do this...... Question Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Scotland 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Izmir Blue

Would be interesting all right. Mine is a 57 plate XS. Nothing really bad but very annoying:

Sqeaking gear shift - fixed.
Rear suspension clonk - fixed.
No start when button pressed - fixed
buzzing interior mirror - replaced but still buzzez - my fix is an elastic band round housing.
Various trim rattles - not fixed
Passenger seat belt rattles (mainly when wife is in seat???) - stuffing a cloth between seat and buckle stops it.
Gear lever gaiter replaced - was 'perishing'
Fuel consumtion average of 34 (manual). 1st car I've had which can't get the 'book'average.

Dealer has been good but will be swingingly expensive so I need to find a good independent in central Scotland - any ideas?

I don't recall that I ever did get to the bottom of it, but on that car I did have the rear boot switch replaced, but not sure if it was after this, Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
