I have a Garmin Nuvi with the camera detectors loaded in and the whole thing works perfect where the OEM sat nav unit fits. Ralph

Are you talking 'active' camera detectors or sat nav with a suitable database?

I was thinking of keeping the OEM and using a dash mounted active unit.

I don't use mine, a roadpilot micro Go, often due to the location of the unit and the fact I need to get power to it by stretching the lead from the front cigar lighter

I had New Road Angel that worked fine in the bottom right hand corner of the screen no problems, have now got a Road Angel Professional Connected and it also has been in for three weeks no problems. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |
