I am pretty sure the glass is fixed to the adjustmant part like most other mirror glasses, i.e. on the back of the mirror is stuck a plastic ring about the size of a CD with little clip like edges, and they just press on to the adjustment part. The old one you just gently pry it off, taking care of your fingers. Its only guess but I am 99% sure. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

My passenger side glass needed replacing a while ago and I watched the dealers mechanic fit it whilst I followed his instructions, moving the mirror up and down with the switch.

You could try this as I doubt this is different to the Fl2

Many thanks to ad210358, Dougden, Nodosh on Disco3 and CG for advice. As Nodosh and Dougden stated it was a bit fiddly but all sorted now.

The Disco and FL2 have got different satnav systems so I don't think it would be possible Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
