Can anybody advise where I can purchase roof racks for the above model car in Brisbane please?

Try Roof Rack City. The Rhino Rack is good.

Rhino Rack do not yet make crossbars for the Freelander 2. However, Roof Rack City in Canberra mounted the Rhino Rack on Thule crossbars.

The Rhino lugs, which mount the Rhino Rack to the track on the top of the cross bars, may need to be filed a very small amount - to let the Rhino lugs fit into the Thule track. (It is a very small adjustment.)

I bought Freelander crossbars with the car, but they are pretty useless because they do not come with the industry standard track used to mount roof racks. It was necessary to replace the Freelander bars and use Thule bars instead.

Rola make them but they only mount to the rear of the car i.e not one at the front and one at the back, they are both placed at the rear. I have the fitting instructions if you would like to see. Thule make racks but they do not fit in the rails, they're the clamp on style which I think look ugly

What do you wish to carry on the racks? Here was mine, albeit expensive solution.

Does anyone know where we can purchase roof rails at at a reasonable price for the fl2 Diesel with sunroof?

when you did the simpson crossing, what did you carry on the roof rack?

was the weight on the rack any issue?

Just placed a new set in sale section PM if still interested
