Emptied out my loose change drawer and took it to the money counting machine in the local supermarket...£137 , then invested it in Remy Martin, Bombay Sapphire,some fizz and a few bottles of french red. excellent.

I have a bottle that saves copper that is around £200 when full

I also save £2 coins and get about £130 every few months which paid for about two days worth of getting out of the rain trips in Cornwall

I too save all my shrapnel from my pockets.

Once every few months I count it all out and go and have a slap up meal somewhere.

The only thing to spoil it is the look on the bank person's face when you slap it all on the counter.

Worst experience for me was when i took a carrier bag of loose change to sainsburys. I put the bag behind the drivers seat and on the way had to brake sharp and i heard change come flying out the bag. Got to Sainsburys and half of the change had gone under the drivers seat. Spent 15 minutes picking it out, most had gone through the air vent tube so had to pull that out and quite alot went under the carpet which i couldnt get at. Finally got the machine and there was a sign on saying 'out of order', was i p d or what!!  Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
