Belgium 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
My FL2 on holiday

Last weekend, after a week with me, my Freelander took me for a cruise through southern Belgium and into Luxembourg. These are the Ardennes. Superb country for just cruising. As many bikers agree. There were hundreds of bikers, mostly in large groups. Luxembourg is a lush green, hilly country, with lots of high quality windy roads, forest, rivers, lake-like reservoirs, pretty villages. Here's a few picks.

I mostly drove with all windows and sunroof open, and with the music on full blast. It was much like driving in a cabriolet. I often got a whiff of summer flower fragrance, and could here the birds singing (when music not on).

In the German speaking part of Belgium

Great pickys Oakwood, nothing like being at peace with your motor but how the dickens did you keep her so clean. Freeda gets dustier than that sat in the yard! still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

Thanks.

Well it was only about a week old. Gleaming when I left home, and only away a day and a half. And Luxemburg's quite a clean little country!

That looks a lot like southern Illinois. It just is missing the meth labs and hillbillies without teeth. I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop.

Looking at your exhaust, makes me wish both of my Freelanders were diesel... I'm sad now. I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop.
