All the electrics and loom are behind the door cards, simple case of disconnecting the plugs. I would imagine that the key fobs are programmed to the central locking ECU so should get away without re-programming, but if I am wrong someone on here will know for sure? 2013 FL2 XS.

Latest, I have pulled off the rubber boot on the wiring loom from the door where it enters the door pillar. There is a multiplug there. But nothing clear as to how you disconnect it?

You will need to support the door precisely & a second person to stabilise it. The things weigh a tonne. I remember in the outback with the car parked on a slope sideways the weight trying to open or close the door is frightening. Probably better to start with the rear doors first as they will be lighter. I would remove glass before removing door to lighten it.

all done 4 doors changed, with help of my son. Not a hard job, but you cannot disconnect the electrics in each door pillar untill the door has been unbolted to allow enough space to unclip them. reconnect again the new door before trying to bolt it on |

Did you have to do anything with the keyfobs / central locking etc ? Or is that all done centrally within the car and only subsequently are signals sent to the doors ? Jules |
