Sorry bob read that again, is there a drain passenger side as well ? Up there was where the safety pin was. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny. 🐑 Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again. Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone. |

No A/C drain passenger side. FL2 2014. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Hi Dave, just on the windscreen moulding now but having trouble getting wiper off, too bloody short to reach to give it a tug but there looks like a load of mud/moss and dirt under there and it's definitely pushed out. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

There are drains in the moulding near the top of the wing that go under the bonnet they always collect moss etc. |

While you're on the windscreen scuttle.... if the join between the glass and the scuttle isn't very good, or the funnel water catcher (under scuttle) isn't in properly behind your battery, you can get water running down the firewall, and into the cabin air intake. A damp cabin filter would be only sign where it's getting in, and wouldn't show up straight away on a hosepipe test. |

Thanks for input, I've had the whole scuttle out and cleaned moss and other crap from between hard plastic trim and scuttle also from between trim and glass after putting it all back there does seem a gap between glass and trim??? Also the metal plate in front of fan thing A/C intake maybe is right rusty one end so I'm think vasalene between glass and trim on scuttle as silicone may give me problems at later date. Have tried getting photos will try again to upload/download 😂 If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny. 🐑 Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again. Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone. |

The only way i could get mine back together properly was to separate the trim and the scuttle, then fit the trim to the glass first nice and tight. Then the scuttle into the trim. |
