Wales 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Stornoway Grey
Outer window weather strip

Need to replace outer weather seal drivers front door, do I need to remove door card and mirror to remove and install replacement weather strip.

page 2238 and 2249 of freebie JLR manual

has little to say - lower the glass if possible , remove screw and lift out by the look of it.
Nothing about removing other stuff first.

Fixed

Have replaced it with no fuss, just removed the small torx screw from inside the door lifted it up and pulled it out from under mirror and then replaced. No removing of door card or mirror really straight forward, happy days 😃

Hi as in earlier pic, it had bubbling along it so thought it could be rust, turned out it was a build up of debris behind it causing it to deteriorate
