What year is your FL2? and how many km/ miles has it done? Could be a number of things first jack up the wheel and rotate it to see if you can feel or hear exactly where the knock is coming from, could be a CV joint? loose caliper? worn suspension bush? or a wheel bearing ? to start with. 2013 FL2 XS.

When mine was knocking last year with similar symptoms it was the drop link on one side. |

With the car securely off the ground get down and give the drive shaft a good shake at both ends at varying points of the wheel rotation. There shouldn’t be and play, if there is the CV joint is gone at the end with play. |

Sounds get transmitted around and it can be deceiving where the noise is really coming from. You need some chassis ears. You can get wireless versions now that you Bluetooth to your mobile phone or tablet. You attach them around the car on/near the bits you think might be making the noise. |
