I am going to fit a winch plate to my Freelander 2. are there any designs available that I could use to have the various components laser cut locally (South Africa) this would be much appreciated and save me a load of time.

I don't see it being more of a mission than any other vehicle, almost all vehicles would need a new front bumper with integrated winch plate, in this case you would fit a winch plate to an existing but removable cross member then cut away a small section for the hause fairlead and replace the bumper. The electrics would be much the same.

Best of luck, I hope it goes well. Muddy mods are the only company I can think of that would be any help and as you say you have already tried them. |
