I changed the brake fluid on my FL2 couple of years back and accidently let the reservoir run dry but managed to get all the air out by repeatedly going round bleeding all four wheels without any diagnostic tools, but as you mention if you drive on a loose surface and activate the ABS that will work. 2013 FL2 XS.

Ive got a sealey pressure bleeder but no fluid ever comes out the caliper bleed screws...

I have always bled the old fashioned way bleeder tube and a jar simple always works. 2013 FL2 XS.

Ive used the pressure systems in the past - great until they leak and spray brake fluid everywhere
