One way is to push the longer clip prongs on the rod and push the two prongs down with a large screwdriver, with the other hand using another screwdriver or small hammer tap the clip home |

Thanks for advice, got one on so far so three to go. Although the lower ones that you can’t push from behind I think are going to be very frustrating ☹️ |

I found the easiest way is to wedge the pin part from behind the hub, using an appropriate sized chisel, then you have 2 hands to use a pair of pliers etc to manoeuvre the clip on. It's pretty easy as you have the maximum pin length available so you don't have to compress the clip too much. Good luck |

I also wedge a screwdriver or a chisel from behind to hold the pin |

All done, thanks for suggestions, combination of pliers and one needed pushing down with large screwdriver whilst someone knocked it in. Not a pleasurable job !! |

Good you managed it. Couldn’t find the YouTube clip, but easy to do with the tool and one person only. I’ll keep searching for it and post it somewhere here for future reference for everyone. |
