Could be crankshaft sensor, these do not show up any fault codes and are fairly cheap to replace, when it was serviced was a genuine JLR fuel filter fitted? as non genuine ones are unreliable, 2013 FL2 XS.

Thanks for that, I'll check with the garage on the filter, and get them to check the crank sensor. |

There is a small blue wire under the fuel filter which can cause problems if corroded or has poor connections. Jules |
