I have just bought myself a scissor lift for the garage and I tested it out yesterday with the freelander
It had absolutely no bother at all lifting it up nearly as fast as lifting without any thing on the ramp

Any way although I got it up safely I wasn't happy about the rubber blocks under the lift points and was wondering if anyone has bought a jack adapter or anything that fits the lift point that I could use instead of a square block

I don't normally jack my freelander from the proper jacking points but the scissor lift kind of requires that I do

Any suggestions or links welcome

That looks very useful would eBay have the rubbers you’re after ?

I can't remember what the jacking point on thr Freelander looks like as mine are inaccessible without removing my Rock sliders.
But if you just put in 'jacking point rubbers' on Amazon, loads show up.

Like the lift, is it compressed air?

The lift is hydrolic it uses compressed air to lift the safety locks when lowering but you need a compressor for that it's not included

The lift was £1800 delivered it was a doddle to put together

The factory jack looks like this maybe I just need a block with a slot in
The only thing that concerns ne is that it has some plastic trim right next to it

Well I bought one of those and all it did was to deform under the weight !!
No lift and not fit for purpose, in my opinion.

The rubber puck thing works fine on my Fiesta when just jacking a corner up for a wheel change etc

I use wooden blocks for the FL2 when all wheels are off the ground Jules

They look superb
