Heater Matrix leak?

Help oh wise one's!
So my daughters MY12 has a coolant loss about 1/2 litre per day. I checked visually hoses/radiator/expansion cap/water pump seal etc not leaking that I can see. Cant see the back of the engine bay though without stripping anything down. Several days no drips, then she left heating on today and____

Noticed Underneath driver side, level with footwell noticed steady dripping. Jacked it up and cant really see where it's coming from. So shut off the car heating, AC and fan and drip comes to a stop. Suspect it's the Heater matrix or return hose from it. How do you get to it and What sort of job is it?

page 1703 of free JLR workshop manual (from this forum)

Looks like gear selctor lever, centre console and trim needs to be removed.

Doesnt look too bad to me but depends what you are comparing it with. Look seasier than replacing the EGR cooler/valve. Jules

Thanks Jules
I have been looking at that, not 100% sure its the matrix though as I would presume the carpets would be wet and they are not, maybe its the hoses to it at the engine bulkhead at the back of the engine.
The thermal control module is located in the engine bay so only drips when that is activated.
The thermal control module is mounted to the rear of the cylinder head with 2 studs and nuts, and 2 bolts and is sealed with an O-ring.
Need to remove air pipe work etc and look down the back of the engine I guess.

Good idea Jules.

I am a late-comer to realising how handy the mobile camera/display is. In addition to using it as a mirror and magnifier, I use it as a memory aid, both in a shop, and whilst dismantling/repairing things.

A quick bit of video will inspect difficult and near impossible places. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
