who can give me some assistance here. After following the instructions in the handbook (hold the front button down for 20-25 seconds until the roof moves backwards, keep holding whilst it moves back and forward, then release when it's fully forward) my roof only moves backwards and stops, it doesn't move forward, even if I hold the switch for another 10 minutes. If I operate the roof manually there's no clicking or grinding or other noises, the runners are clear and no codes are logged in any of the computers.
Does anyone know what the issue is likely to be?

my last Hse would only close by holding the switch,various landrover so called experts told me this was normal,even exeter main dealer,so no auto close .I took it to lr dealer rodger young at plymouth,who took pictures of the alloy runners(coated in plastic)which showed the alloy had expanded,causing the ecu to think there was an obstruction.They quoted£1500 to replace runners,luckily it was under warranty with an independent.
