Shed of the week

Anyone on Pistonheads will no doubt be aware of the 'shed of the week' thread published ever Friday. Its a humerous take on buying a 'shed' car for less than £2000 that is currently advertised on their classified pages. Often leads to hundreds of posts of discussion and quite entertaining.
Anyway some on here might be interested in this week's offering, a 2006 Freelander 2 i6.

Interesting running costs in the UK, I have a Mazda CX-9 270 bhp V6 3.7litre petrol in Spain wanted a FL2 but they are silly money over 15K€ for a plus 200km example and that's not even the 2013 upgrade model or even HSE. MY road tax is 188€ and insurance 574€, there's no NCD out here but it is fully comp. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

The way I would look at that would be, £1500 is not the true value of the car. It sits at that because people look at the road tax.
It's £300 more than my 2.2 dirty diesel.
So 3 years of motoring ( x£300 ) would only take the cost of that splendid motor up to £2500 !
