United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey
Sender Issues

Hi All, just resgisted today: Hope all are well in the Freelander world..

I purchased my FL2 3 months back... it's a 2010 HSE on 113k. I have an issue with the sender unit.

The problem is, when the tank reaches below half the needle drops into the empty and I get the empty alert come up.. MY question is: has anyone had the same issue and was it difficult to remove the tank and replace the sender unit ?. (nothing on You Tube)

Thanks in advance.

Try using the words fuel, sender, and half in the search function in the blue bar at the top of the page. Your problem has occurred before.
