Hi. Unfortunately my 3 year warranty is coming to end. I was going to change car, but have decided to hang on until the new freelanders next year. The thing is my car has had some faults over the years and am now looking at some king of extended warrenty.
Does anybody know if LR do one and if so how much, or are there better companies out there that offer complete peace of mind

Tesco finest car warranty is provided by the same company and provides more cover for less money, but you would have to check roadside breakdown cover as am not sure if this can be included but even buying a separate policy it will be better cheaper cover

I enquired about extending LR assist when it expires next year, but my dealer said it's £750 p.a.!!! I hope he got that wrong I'd be intersted to know what they quote for warranty extension  Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Thanks npinks, I have LV insurance and they offer reasonable breakdown cover so it is just the warranty I would be interested in. Just got a quote online from carplan, that comes out at £360. Will check the small print and also check with Tesco.

Before I traded in my FL1 last year, I enquired about extended warranty and was quoted £760 p.a. by my local Stealer. You can get a lot of repairs for £760 from a real garage!
