Another freelander at high peak

I see on you tube that high peak autos has brought another freelander 2 09 plate for £300. When do they start becoming an a appreciating classic. 🙏🏻

Someone on FREEL2 needs to take it off his hands.

I enjoy watching his videos but his skills as a mechanic are lacking.

I started watching and I couldn't finish.

- In the video he noticed that the temperature as reported by the gauge was warming up too fast for a Diesel (a good observation)

- But he didn't pull over and check the radiator hose to see if it was also hot

- He checked that the AC was blowing cold but he didn't run the heat to confirm that the engine was actually hot and that the coolant was flowing

Someone that actually knows how things work needs to look at that LR2

I do enjoy watching the HIGH PEAK videos and I've watched many but someone needs to help him troubleshoot.

Just my $0.02 (or two pence if you prefer)

Thanks

Paul

A lot of car for £300.
He doesn't do anything mechanical himself and describes that his time is more valuable sourcing and selling cars.
I'd imagine he'd probably do well to employ his own mechanic given the amount of work he farms out to others. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I guess it’s better for him to out source the mechanics, he is not on the hook for national insurance, pension payments etc, and if there is a downturn he doesn’t have to pay them.

Sorry to say but I find him boring.
He just buys cars, point's out what he thinks could be wrong, then talk's about how much he could get for it.
I much prefer content like ' Salvage Rebuilds UK '.
Admittedly nowhere near the same but I think more interesting. Very Happy Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Yes I know it’s fairly all the same, I just use the fast forward unless it’s a motor from my past to reminisce. Like a lot of them it’s a shop front for what they are selling. SR is enjoyable but Chris is very good at what he does, even if most of it is above my pay grade.🤣
