recording service on 2013/14 model

Hi
can you record a service before it is due (one that has been done early).
Most utube vids are for when the service indicator is showing but what about when it is not??

Thanks for feedback.
i have serviced it 3 months ahead of time and want to change service to this time not wait until it appears in December!!
