Your MY will not have a connector/sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter. However as you say it will have what appears to be a connector but it's blank |

The fuel filter OEM manufacturer is Purflux (FCS604) and they are expensive - around twice the price of look-alike filters ie £45 ish Jules |

What make is it? £47+ is extremely expensive for a no name aftermarket part. It it's an Purflux part it's about right. Coopers do a Purflux (OE) filter for about £25. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. Yes, some cheap fuel filters lack the internal parts that the OEMs one have.
