Be very careful if you useEvri, potentional sharp practise.

I sent a parcel with a 19” tyre, the dimensions were 76 + 76 + 26 = 178cm, which fits neatly in their under 245 cm combined dimensions category and they charge about £10; I’m happy with that!

However, they don’t add it up like that: they measure the shortest two dimensions twice (without providing justification), giving: 76 + 76 + 76 + 24 + 24 = 276cm

They then delay the drlivery until I pay an additional £10+ and tell me that they will destroy my parcel if the payment isn’t made.

Once bitten, twice shy; what do you think?

Sounds like a sneaky practice, wouldn't be giving them any more business. 🤔 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Its interesting, I looked on the Evri web site and it says "Add together the 2 shortest sides and multiply it by 2. Add the length. If the total is less than 245cm, you’re good to go!

As an engineer, I have no idea what this calculation means Confused

It cost over £40 to destroy a tyre (local tip) plus time and money delivering to tip. Get your own back for £10 and send a old Censored tyre to the MD's/CEO address Cool

To add insult to injury, I’ve still not received the parcel as they appear to have lost it. I should know for certain by Monday 😤
