Door fabric repair.

The grey fabric on the door card is coming away. Happening on 2 doors and appears as large bubble in centre. Still firmly stuck down at edges. Was thinking about a small cut then spraying adhesive onto door card then pressing back down. Anyone else had this. Thanks

Take the trim panels off & drill a hole from behind.

Some photos behind trim panels in this thread. Once you have removed trim panels half a dozen times you can do it blind folded. It is that easy. I have had the ceiling down & back up within an hour & boot sill back in place after installing additional 25mm foam. www.freel2.com/forum/topic33026.html Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Many thanks. No probs with getting panels off. Much better idea to avoid cutting the fabric.

Just be careful you don't actually drill through the back of the fabric!

Put a spacer on the drill bit so you can only drill in a few mm. Drill bits tend to bite in plastic and pull themselves through. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

That would lead to an outburst of DIY tourettes.
