Are you sure the rodents are not still there ? Laughing

In all seriousness, Ive had some serious electrical damage by rodents in the past, so I keep rodent killer in the engine bay all year round. Jules

Isn't that being a bit cruel to the cat? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Still not got through all the wiring issues. Those rodents have been busy. As have the rodents. That together with the bodger who fixed them up last time !
Again not Freelander related but, I had an old garden sprayer. Got a bit of clear plastic tube. Using my old carpentry vac, I made myself an oil sucker. The reason behind it was that I believe a lot of newer cars have the oil filter towards the top of the engine rather than the bottom. Works a treat. Sucked out all the oil via the dipstick hole in under 5 mins. Checked that I got it all by taking off the sump bolt. Aluminium sump, and steel plug. Only stripped to thread out of the Ali sump putting the plug back in. Stuck it back in with some job weld. Oh, the woes of being a father to Three daughter. 😂. I believe that new Mercedes now have there oil sucked out ?
Anyway, the car is now pulling to One side when braking, and I suspect either a sticky caliper, or a collapsing hose. Calipers seem to be hard to get hold of. I would rebuild them with new pistons if I could find a kit ? They are Mando calipers. Pics attached. Any idea how I could find out if they were used on any other cars ? Thanks as usual for any help you might be able to offer. 👍
