HI NEW HERE AND STUCK JUST REPLACED 2 TURBO HOSES IN LAST 6 MONTHS FRONT AND YEAR OF ENGINE NOW TRANSMISION GONE. NEED ADVICE ON BUDGET IS IT BEST TO BUY FROM WREAKERS OR GET MY OWN RECONDITIONED? I CANNOT EVEN FIND TRANSMISSION MODEL NUMBER HAVE REGO AND VIN CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH THIS TO START

have you plugged it into any diagnostic reader ? don't assume its the box as there are other things that fail including the Transmission control module that sits on top of the gearbox where the selector cable is

thank you for reaching out. have been told no longer making replacement parts but can get a rebuilt from uk for over 10000.00 plus fitting and doesn't include transferer case that is 2100.00 The errors i get are as follows. Transmission component slipping

Ok well that looks like there’s a problem with valve block or torque converter possibly both, is it possible to get a replacement used box from a breakers as the cost of shipping from uk seems ridiculous

Do you have an independent gearbox specialist anywhere near you, who has experience of the Aisin auto-gearbox?

Im guessing it was used in other vehicles available in Oz besides the Freelander 2 Jules
