https://www.freelanderspecialist.com/ https://maps.app.goo.gl/DGWYjS9cdBgRHrbR7 Freelander Specialists would be closer to you than Bell. Freelander specialists replaced our Haldex, did our timing belt and other bits and pieces. Between Sue and Norbert, they know Freelander 1 and 2's inside out and have 1 way of working and that's to do the job right or not do it at all. The last time I enquired they had a similar waiting list to Bell. https://www.muddymods.com/ https://maps.app.goo.gl/fE1t1Bdjvac1TLL16 Another company to keep in mind is MuddyMods. They do all the work on our car that Alana and I don't feel comfortable tackling. Chell and Warren are top people and are regularly at various shows. Yet again, much like Bell and Freelander Specialists, what they don't know about Freelanders probably isn't worth knowing. I think Chell has recently posted on social media that they are now booking for September. https://www.youtube.com/@scottandalana4x4 |

That’s not a bad shout. My glass is always half empty so I go into full on mode pretty quickly! |

Just an update: I thought I would get my haldex serviced to rule that out as I had some other jobs I needed to garage to do. If it wasn’t the haldex at least that is a job ticked off. The garage ran some tests but it looks like a problem with the splines on the gearbox to PTU shaft. I need the front bushings done so I can kill two birds with one stone and get it all done. Hopefully, fingers crossed, my issues will be solved. |
