Chassis number help

I see lots of parts referred to based 'From BH000001' or 'to AH999999'

My chassis number is SALFA23B87H0#####

I see a H there but do I go with the A or B? - ie am I 'to AH' or 'from BH'

Its a 2.2 diesel auto 2007. Cheers!

Cheers Ian

I did have a look at that and the high res images in your gallery... None the wiser!

However I understand I may be AH as BH refers to post face lift. Would be good to get this confirmed.

Cheers!

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Bali Blue

As far as I am aware that sequence is 2007 to the end of 2009 model year. 2010 model year is mainly interior and trim changes, and some engine parts, not sure which though. Some engine sensors changed for the 2010 model year engine, but retain the old part numbers on dealer catalogues. I found that out swapping a 2010 engine into a 2008 car. I am sure other members have more specific data than me, so ask a dealer like Craddock's, I find them helpful.

A 7H number is referring to a 2007 MY, which is what you have.
My 58 plate 2.2 SE is a 9H, meaning it's a 2009 MY vehicle, even though it was registered on a late 2008 plate.

The A and B prefix are earlier in the VIN (I forget if its the 2nd or 5th character), but it's post 2010 models used a letter B, wherever it comes in the sequence. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone.
2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone.
Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver.
1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project.

Aye... its a wee bit confusing but 'AH' - A means 2010 model... so as an 07, I am 'up to AH999999' as opposed to 'from BH000001'

Cheers!
