United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver
Gear linkages removal & replace help please.

Hi. I've a 2008 manual. I need to replaced my gear linkage cables & gearstick/gearstick plastic housing. I've already done the easy part & removed the linkages at the gearbox end & I've removed the gear gaiter & surround. I'm now on 12 hour night shifts tonight & tomorrow & was just looking on Google (also posted on FL2 off road group on facebook) but not had any luck finding any info on what I need to remove inside. I'm guessing it's all the lower dash that needs to come out & I'll then see the cables running through the bulkhead. I will be doing it on my own so hoping it's not a two man job to feed them through. Can anyone give me any tips on what I need to remove inside the car & any other helpful advice please?

Thanks in advance. Any help much appreciated as I need my car back on the road ASAP.

Dan.
