Fixed the alternator (again) on Monday.

Friday my wife said that it had started to make a knocking noise when turning and when going over bumps.

Quick look and it looks like the spring has snapped

I replaced these springs in 2022 along with the shocks. Both were reasonable quality makes. KYB for both. The springs had a 2 year warranty but actually claiming on that will, I'm sure, be awkward.

I recall them being a pain to replace too, my sorting compressors weren't big enough to compress the new springs enough to get them on. I ended up having to take the shocks and springs down to a garage to get them to fit the springs on their hydraulic spring compressor.

Now deciding if both sides should be done too with them not being that old.

Only just replaced the droplinks and tie rod ends in Feb so hopefully they still undo 😔
